Two-piece design sandwiches the lower rocker panel lip between the 1/4″ outer plate and a 3/16″ rear backing plate for extra protection. Guard is 48″ long to cover from flare to flare and is easily trimmed for varying wheel well openings. They offer great protection for the sheet metal or to cover up the existing damage. These also have a 39″ x 1 1/2″ x 3/16″ wall tubing protector that is great for keeping rocks and trees away from the door and flares.
Mounts with 3/8″ Stainless Steel Button cap bolts and nutserts for rust-free good looks. Come bare but easily paintable to match your rig. If you’re planning on using these as steps, we recommend putting non-skid tape on them as shown on Hi Ho Silver, Suzy has been using these as steps on her Bronco for nearly 10 years! These ship in 2 boxes.
Consider adding the quarter guards as featured on the yellow bronco in the photo. More information here.

After cutting to fit between my rear flares they fit great and lined up under the doors good. I had to make the pre drilled holes on the back side slotted to line up with the holes in the lip under the rockers ( mine were only about 1/2″ ) after doing that everything lined up great

Ordered and received the Rock Guards in record time. Super high quality and love the way they look on my ’70 Bronco!. Took about 90 mins to install with no help.

I feel better going off road in my restored and modified 1969 Bronco with the added protection provided with the 1/4 inch thick rock sliders and my very supportive wife appreciates the integral step! Top notch quality and fitment. I threw away the old ones made by the competition.
