This is it, folks...

The end all be all of modern drive and control out of your Early Bronco, the Duck Tuff lift. Why is it "Duck Tuff"? James Duff and Tom Hyde, the owner of Lick creek Restorations have joined forces to bring you the best all-around driving and handling EB money can buy. Lick Creek's flagship ride "The Duck" A 1973 Ford Bronco has what we consider the formula every Bronco needs for its owner to get maximum value and the best all-around experience from their classic 4x4.

  • Smooth on-road handling
  • Great off-road characteristics, flex, and comfort
  • Outstanding traction control (complete kit with all options)
  • Greatly reduced body roll on-road (sway bar kit)
  • Driver AND Passenger confidence
Have you ever longed for your ride to drive and handle like a modern-day vehicle? Do you want to drive it down the road and not feel like it's going to beat your brains out or fall apart along the way? Are you worried if you go too fast, you won't be able to control it when it hits a big bump or something or someone darts out in front of it?

Finally, someone put together a suspension system that not only rides the best. It not only controls the best but also holds true to its original heritage. The leader and original creator of premium off-road bronco parts, James Duff, is back to deliver you what we believe is the best. Try it today and instantly save money, hassle and time. See below for more information.

How to spec out your Duck Tuff Lift...

First, using the drop-downs above select what year your Bronco is. This is important because there were some changes and revisions in the Bronco's suspension set up between 1966 & '77.

Second, choose your leaf springs. Medium duty leaf springs are ideal for soft top equipped broncos while the heavy-duty leafs are what you'll want if you have a hardtop or aftermarket plate bumpers or if you are running a rear-mounted spare tire carrier. Click here if you need more information about which ones to choose.

Third, choose your front sway bar. The standard option is our new Hellwig (#5311) while the premium option (#5312 has quick disconnects to give you even more articulation off-road.

Fourth, choose your shocks. Want the tried and true Duff 70/30's or the Revolutionized Premium James Duff by Eibach MS2020's?

Fifth, Choose your C-Bushings. 6004's are the standard option. 6007's are the preferred option but you will need either radius arm drop brackets (#5430) or high angle long, long travel drive shafts. If you choose 6007's you must modify your existing driveshaft or choose our high angle driveshaft.

Sixth, choose our other suggested add ons and accessories to put the icing on the cake.

Q: Can I install this in my driveway or garage?
A: Yes but it will require, several tools, a degree of mechanical knowledge, welding and an alignment. Consider this a challenging erector set that will take several days to install

Q: What degree C bushings are on The Duck? I see it gives me a choice between 4 and 7 degree.
A: The Duck is running 7 degree C bushings for optimal caster but this typically requires a high angle-long travel driveshaft. 4 degree C bushings are typically what we recommend with a lift like this but the extra caster on the Duck is part of why it handles like a modern vehicle. If you don't want to change your driveshaft and you want more caster we recommend adding the radius arm drop brackets. It's an add-on option above.

Q: Can I use my stock sway bars with this lift?
A: No you can't. You will need to run the ones provided with this lift

Q: Can I get this lift in a different color?
A: Yes, it is offered in Duff's signature color blue powder coat and the new Midnight Series Metallic Black powder coat

Q: What are the specs on the Duck's tire sizes?
A: The Duck features 35/12.50/17 BFG KM3's with 17" x 9" Method Wheels // 2.5" suspension lift with 1" body lift- For a deep dive you should really check out the thread on
