Long Tube Headers 289/302/351W Painted, 1966-77 Bronco Classic Early Ford
Headers 289/302/351W Black Hi-Temp Painted, 1966-77 Bronco

A design that has stood the test of time. Made in the USA, our headers are one piece construction (not sleeved) with equal length tubes for maximum horsepower and torque. Designed so the starter can be removed with the headers in place and to clear the steering and clutch linkage. Made of 16 gauge, 1.5” diameter tubing for smooth flow into the 2.5” final diameter collectors, they follow the same route as the stock exhaust system. Utilizes a 3/8” thick flange for strength and to prevent gasket blow out. They fit 289, 302/5.0 and 351W/5.8 conversions. Compatible with C4 and AOD automatics and manual transmissions. C6 transmissions will require modification. Will not work with GT-40P heads. If running an NV3550 or AX15 transmission, using our headers will require a custom intermediate pipe to work with the new transmission crossmember (not available from Duff's).
The Duffy's Original Headers with the driver side design updated in 2001 to fit better with our #5350 Radius Arms. Come with hardware, premium gaskets and instructions.*

+As of May 2018, these headers come painted with a Hi-Temp Header Paint. They start as black but after heating a few times settle in as more of a dark gray matte finish. (They can be lightly scuffed and top coated with other high temp finishes.)

*The regulation of emissions production, noise levels, and safety standards is undertaken by the federal government, each of the fifty state legislatures and by many local municipalities, towns and counties. California Vehicle Code Sections 27156 and 38391 prohibit the advertising, offering for sale, or installation of any device which modifies a vehicle’s emission control system unless exempted. James Duff headers have not received an exemption from these code sections and are not legal for sale or use in California on vehicles originally equipped with catalytic converters. It is illegal, except for vehicles only driven off-road, to remove or otherwise render inoperative any emission control device on regulated motor vehicles. In the other 49 states, it- is the responsibility of the ultimate consumer to check federal and local laws to determine if JDI products are legal for use on their vehicle.

They are incredibly rust, chip and abrasion resistant; lower under hood temperature; and have an "polished/aluminum" look that does not blue.

Stock bushings can wear out fast --kissing curbs will even do it! Worn out track bar bushings are the primary cause of front end shimmy. These upgraded replacements are two-piece polyurethane, with metal sleeves for easy installation. You can change them out in minutes.
These are included in our 14-piece bushing kits and have the correct oval bushing for the frame side mount on your stock 76-77 track bar.
(Note: #6108 is for 66-75 Broncos which have a round bushing at both ends of the stock track bar. If you have an "aftermarket" track bar, please call us for the correct part numbers.)
