Classic Early Ford Bronco 1966-77 Ceramic Long Tube Headers 289/302/351W V8 Duffy's Original
Ceramic Coated Headers 289/302/351W, 1966-77 Bronco

A design that has stood the test of time. Made in the USA, our headers are one piece construction (not sleeved) with equal length tubes for maximum horsepower and torque. Designed so the starter can be removed with the headers in place and to clear the steering and clutch linkage. Made of 16 gauge 1 1/2” diameter tubing for smooth flow into the 2 1/2” final diameter collectors, they follow the same route as the stock exhaust system. Utilizes a 3/8” thick flange for strength and to prevent gasket blow out. They fit 289, 302/5.0 and 351W/5.8 conversions. Compatible with C4 and AOD automatics and manual transmissions. C6 transmissions will require modification. Will not work with GT-40P heads. If running an NV3550 or AX15, you will need custom intermediate pipes to clear the new transmission crossmember (not available from Duff's).
The Duffy's Original with the driver side design was updated in 2001 to fit better with our #5350 Radius Arms. Come with hardware, premium Remflex gaskets and instructions.* These feature a inside and out metallic ceramic coating that resists temperatures up to 1600° F. They are incredibly rust, chip and abrasion resistant; lower under hood temperature; and have an "polished/aluminum" look that does not blue.

...Now available in Black Cerakote
Our satin black cerakote option has an even higher heat resistance up to 2300° F as well as being more resilient than ceramic coating.

Important Note: These are not compatible with the Stage 8 header bolts.

Simple in design and function, attach above the springs so they don 't catch on trail obstacles. Will not fit with overloads. It comes with polyurethane bushings. Welded traction bars, all parts come black coated.

Traction Bars hold the axle in place during acceleration and stopping. This improves traction and directional stability. Especially on raised vehicles. Overall, they help eliminate shackle and driveshaft failure during hard acceleration, hill climbing, and rough trails. They also reduce the chance of broken springs due to rough terrain with heavy loads. Excellent for Broncos used in the sand dunes or for heavy mud bogging. They help to control wheel hop and axle wrap (the Bronco “clunk ”). When used with our double shocks and high strength U-bolts they will reduce broken u-joints.

Fit 1966-79 Bronco, 1967-1979 F-series

Axle Wrap: The rear axle rotating in the U-bolts. Repeated axle rotation causes wear on the driveshaft, U-Bolts and axle housing.

These are included in our 14-piece bushing kits and have the correct oval bushing for the frame side mount on your stock 76-77 track bar.

This is for those of you that have had our shifter for years and now it needs a little freshening up. Since we’ve been making this kit for over 30 years we realize that some of you may have a shifter with some worn parts that need replaced. This kit comes with a new chrome handle, a walnut knob, boot & bezel, shift rods and rod bushings. The shift rods are threaded at both ends for the best possible fit and fine tuning. This kit can also be used to convert a worn out 3 speed Hurst linkage to one like ours. Handle is offset to the right to increase legroom and is shorter so your knuckles don’t hit the dash.

Stock column shifters on Broncos have always been troublesome. The stock rods bend causing the neutral gate to go out of alignment making shifting difficult. Sometimes the release pin on the collar eggs out, letting you take the shifter with you! Our 3-speed floor shifters eliminate those problems and make shifting a joy again! Other shifters run your knuckles into the dash, so we shortened the throw 4” and added a 1” offset to the right for extra leg room. Included is the rubber boot, bezel, walnut knob, decal and optional white fiberglass tunnel cover with screws (additional charge). Designed to fit a V8, but the rods may be shortened approx. 2.5” by cutting, overlapping and rewelding to fit the 6cyl. May be used with the stock transfer case shifter or match it with our transfer case shifters sold below.
